Swanland Parish Council serves approximately 4000 inhabitants of the village of Swanland in East Yorkshire.

The aim of this website is to allow the Council to communicate more effectively with residents and to provide ways to allow them to contact both the Parish Council and the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council. It will be kept fully updated with items of local concern including access to current planning applications and how you can make your views known.

The Parish Council works closely with many local organisations including the Swanland Village Association (SVA) The SVA operates the Swanland Village Website which contains a vast amount of local information.

Visitors to this site since September 2007

Full contact details and pictures of all Parish Councillors are on the Your Council page with links to the latest minutes of meetings, an Archive of past minutes and Newsletters and an agenda for the next meeting, posted just prior to meetings.

The powers, responsibilities and finances can be viewed on the Council Responsibilities page, with a link to the current parish Precept.

The Planning Information page briefly explains the local planning process and lists current significant planning applications with a link to the East Riding Planning portal.
